A most wonderful byproduct of answering the company email is learning how many customers of ours are doing really fun and interesting things. Recently a total stranger and I became acquainted via this email.
“Hello, I wanted to let you know that a recipe i created using your King Creole Spice has been selected as one of 5 finalists at the Nueske’s Amateur Cook-off at Baconfest Chicago on April 10th. Here is the link to my Recipe.

I really enjoy the quality and freshness of your spices and have featured them in other recipes on my food blog as well.
I’m hopeful that the King Creole Seasoning will help my recipe shine above the competition! Have a great day.
Okay, we are from Wisconsin, where it goes without saying that Nueske’s bacon is THE BEST. Also, no one loves chicken wings more than I do. I had never dreamed of putting the two together. Add King Creole seasoning, and I have to believe in this recipe. Go Brad.
Out of many entries, Brad’s recipe has made the cut into the final five selection for the Nueske’s bacon cook-off at Baconfest this weekend. After emailing Brad my thanks for his email and for ruining my newly started diet, I immediately went on-line to get tickets. I encountered promoter requests to trumpet this event to anyone who loved bacon. Well, I could certainly do that, my Chicago in-store customer email list has over 15,000 people on it, and I am only to happy to share information about a fine venture such as this. My staff are also are huge bacon fans, and I know they will take this cause to heart and help spread the word. Alas, sadly, this proved unnecessary, as I found that these tickets were long gone. From what I heard, this event sold out as fast as a red hot rock concert, someone even told me 15 minutes, although I imagine that was an exaggeration! Bacon apparently sells itself, no help in promotion needed. Still hoping to score on Craig’s list. Anyone need a spice rack restock more than a belly full of bacon? Email email@example.com.
