Made in Small Batches

Unlike its Greek cousin, Mexican oregano is related to verbena. It is earthier and more pungent in both flavor and scent. Our Ground Mexican Oregano Powder holds up well in spicy dishes and is used liberally in the cuisines of Mexico and the American Southwest. Also available in Whole Mexican Oregano. Visit our blog to learn more about Mexican oregano and discover new recipes.

Not just for Mexican cooking

I love cumin. Not only is it a must have for any Mexican-southwest bean recipe, but also many Mediterranean dishes, as well. Spice House cumin is the freshest ever.

Great when called for

We love to use non-ground oregano in many recipes but there are plenty of uses for this. Our favorite is using this to make our own taco seasoning. Will be keeping this on hand.

Great in any southwest recipe!

I didn’t know that Mexican oregano is a different plant from Italian oregano or the zaatar plant!
